" Bill Gordon - Sale of Arlington Heights cond 8/27/2020 Sue Duchek, broker and owner of Picket Fence Realty, turned the reluctance and anxiety I felt about having to use a realtor into gratitude and completely positive feelings about my first time doing so. I had unenthusiastically decided that I would need the help of a realtor to sell a condo I had lived in and owned for 30 years, because I was then living 140 miles away. I was unenthusiastic and reluctant because I am an independent and DIY kind of guy. Nevertheless, my wife and I interviewed several realtors in the Arlington Heights area. We knew in ten minutes we had a match when we met Sue. What impressed us was her calm, mature, friendly, thoughtful, humble and relatable demeanor and the fact that she did not push herself on us despite what we later learned were her manifest qualifications and experience. My point is, Sue is the real deal as a person and you will love working with her. She will tell it like it is and you'll want to hear it. For me, Sue has a great deal of personal credibility and earned my trust early with her nuanced thinking and analysis. She also has a lively sense of humor which, believe me, can serve anyone well in this sometimes fraught and emotional undertaking of real estate sales. Sue guided me through a minefield of difficult decisions in the worst months of the Covid-19 crisis in the spring and summer of 2020. Then she rationally and sympathetically helped me keep the faith through the disappointment of losing two early sales (for reasons beyond our control or influence) until we finally "got our plane on the ground and to the terminal", as our lawyer, Collin Gilbert of Palatine, put it. He was recommended by Sue and turned out to be a great choice. I recommend him as well for his hard work, communications skills and wise advice. I felt that Sue was in the game - my game - with both her head and her heart from the start. I would unconditionally recommend her to anyone seeking a delightful partner and an experienced guide in their real estate journey. If you call her, say "hey" from me. "

" Sue, what can I say. She has taken the reins in selling two of our properties and I have been so thrilled and thankful that we chose her. She sold our first home in Rolling Meadows and found a smaller condo for my husband and I in Elk Grove Village that he loved. When he passed I asked her to again help me find another condo and she came through like a champ. The champ that she is. She is thoughtful, caring, sweet, resourceful and always eager to help you find the real estate that you want. She and her staff go out of their way to answer any and all of your questions and help you to find anyone you may need to get the place that you want. SHE IS A CHAMP! Pat"

Sandra became a real estate developer in 2002. Her first 3-unit condo building was built from the ground up in Wicker Park. Sandra hired a realtor to list one of the condos in her development and afterwards decided to sell the units on her own by becoming a real estate broker. While studying to be a real estate broker, Sandra developed a 8-unit condo building in 2005 and felt there was no better person to sell the units other than someone who knows every aspect of the building and the uniqueness of each unit. Once the building was developed, she achieved her real estate license and successfully sold each condo. After the 2005 project, Sandra developed a 7-unit condo building and became friends with some of the unit owners who have complimented her for the quality of her work and design ideas. Sandra's real estate development experience brings a new level of expertise when it comes to helping a potential buyer invest in real estate or assist someone in listing their home. Investing in real estate is a big decision and Sandra brings a level of personal real estate experience and dedication. Whether you are looking for a home to live in or invest to fix, design, and sell, Sandra has the expertise to help you find that perfect place. She was born and raised in Chicago and well versed with the neighborhoods in the city as well as the suburbs in Illinois. Sandra while working in Arlington Heights found it to be a charming place to live and Picket Fence Realty the perfect place to hang her license. With 16 years of experience and over $10 million dollars in sales, she looks forward to working with the Picket Fence Realty team, meeting new friends and establishing new clients. She is also fluent in Spanish.
